中國民謠歷史悠久，家喻戶曉。本碟配樂節奏鮮明、旋律輕鬆，尤其是《鳳陽花鼓》，以大鑼鼓配樂，節奏強勁明快，中段配以二胡的獨奏，旋律輕鬆愉快。其他歌曲如《康定情歌》、《阿里山姑娘》、《在那遙遠的地方》、《踏雪尋梅》等都是流傳甚廣的民謠。系列分別以歌詠、誦讀和樂團演繹，歌詞小冊子附漢語拼音，除可讓孩子欣賞中國傳統民謠唱誦之美，也可從中學習普通話，是孩子的課餘良伴，亦是普通話老師和音樂老師的最佳教材。

We are ethnically chinese, but my husband and I cannot speak chinese. I purchased this for my 2 little boys in the hope of familiarizing them with the sounds of mandarin and exposing them to some chinese culture. I was overwhelmed by the production as I was not expecting such quality. The voices are clear and beautiful, nice music and the songs are wonderful. I find myself listening to them by choice even when the kids aren't around.

I did some research on the Bear Children's Choir and they are famous in Hong Kong. There is a company based in Canada that imports all their products in the U.S. and Canada. I am definitely interested in their other products. google it.
